​We absolutely loved our stay at this friendly and beautiful farmstay near Gloucester! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at ease. The atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed,no strict rules, just freedom to enjoy the space, which made it feel like a true home away from home.The accommodation was incredibly comfortable and cosy. Whether it was curling up with a book by the fireplace or soaking in the peaceful rural views, every moment was calming and enjoyable.One of the best parts? It’s perfect for pets and families! Our dog had the time of his life running around freely and exploring the open spaces. It’s rare to find a place this welcoming to both humans and furry friends alike.If you're looking for a stress-free, family-friendly getaway where you can truly unwind, breathe in fresh country air, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, this is the place. We’re already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

Such an amazing experience staying here. It reminded me of something from a painting how beautiful it was. Everything was absolutely fantastic. It was such a pleasure to be surrounded by the farm animals and especially the cows. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we will definitely be staying again one day. What a wonderful place this is! Our two dogs were very welcome to wander about the property and it was so nice to have them inside as well (behaving themselves, of course). We booked the Homestead for three nights and it was very spacious with wonderful views. We brought food along and were pleased to see a full sized fridge to store all our cold items. Everything else that we needed was supplied (pots, pans, crockery, utensils, BBQ, salt/pepper etc.).
The spa was great! Very relaxing, especially as one day was a little cool and the bubbling water was nice and warm. - Karen

Peaceful and relaxing.
You can sit and just look at the views all day.
My husband booked this get away for me for a Christmas gift.
It lived up to all he told me about it.
They only thing I would say it 2 nights isn’t enough.
We will be back for a week or more. Then we can on day trips. To explore the hiking tracks and river activities.

Three magnificent nights and days at Dam It Getaway and the local area. 
Bev and Katrina were helpful yet let us run around doing what we wanted. 
The 'staff', Dash, King and Kira were always smiling and cheerful. The new assistants, Spitfire and Bronson are beautiful.
74 acres to wander and relax.
Can't wait to go back in July for winters nights around the fires.

If you want to relax, this is the place to stay. Peaceful, wonderful views and fresh air. You can do lots or as we did, not much at all. The ladies were very welcoming and nothing was a problem. The dogs were an added bonus.

Honestly our stay at Dam it Getaway was one of our best getaways so far, the cabin has everything needed from A to Z, our hosts were so kind and helpful, the views are so charming and breathtaking, I highly recommend it to anyone who likes to have a relaxing escape from the noisy city. Dam it Getaway is a fantastic place to relax. It is so private and peaceful and quiet. It is also absolutely breathtakingly beautiful with its views of the rolling hills and paddocks, dotted with farm animals. Our house was lovely and clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Great farm setting with beautiful valley views. Nice and clean accommodation with super comfy beds made for a relaxing stay. Extra towels and blankets were appreciated. Excellent kitchen with all the extras including a coffee machine.. Hooray! There is a jacuzzi and sadly we didn't get a chance to use it but this is a nice added bonus. When you stay here, look up as there are stunning views of the starry night sky! This is a great place to stay if you want to unwind, relax and escape the city!

We had a great stay at the Dam It house, everything was made available to us, extra towels, bed linen, hair dryers in every room. Every bathroom, Bev had supplied hairdryers, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body lotion, toilet rolls. The kitchen was well equipped, and the pantry with the essentials, good size fridge and freezer. Immediately we notice, how clean every thing was, crockery, pans, bath, toilet etc. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, bed of high quality. The house had heating throughout plus a log fire. Everything required to make an Autumn break comfortable and cozy. Internet access easy and consistent. In addition to all of this, beautiful countryside and stunning views. Close to Gloucester for food essentials. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there. - Angie
